S'moves Jam
Wednesdays, June 11th thru July 23rd

A class designed for anyone interested in the basic technique of dance forms such as modern dance, ballet, folk dance and incremental movement explorations. Let your creative artist emerge a little bit at a time (or a lot!)

No experience is necessary, just the willingness to explore movement and voice in a non-judgmental, affirmative atmosphere.

Silent Auction Art Sale to Benefit
The Women's Center of Greater Lansing
Sunday, August 3rd, Noon-4pm @P2

Bid on original artwork from local artists.  Items include paintings, jewelry, textiles, pottery and other unique items.  Local artists that have contributed works include Joe Barden, Gloria Bridges, Dorothy Brooks, Roxanne Frith, Patrick Lindemann, Roger Marz, Deb Oliva, Jane Schoneman, Sally Swiss, and Chris Triola. Donations from other local artists are still being sought.

The Women's Center of Greater Lansing is a private non-profit organization that provides services to women in the Lansing area. Since its doors opened in 2005, the Women’s Center has served over 1,000 women.  The Women's Center is dedicated to helping women realize their potential, support each other, achieve economic self-sufficiency, and develop emotional and physical wellbeing, regardless of income level. Services that the Center provides include career counseling and resume preparation, individual counseling, and a wide variety of support groups and workshops.
