Getting Married? Perspective2 (P2) would like to extend our congratulations to the both of you on your engagement! Now is the perfect time to start considering a venue for your bridal shower, wedding ceremony and your reception! We would love to introduce you to Perspective2, a wonderful creative studio space, perfect for your special events! Our versatile space offers all of the following:
P2 is “Urban Cool”: Our stylish, creative studio space combines vintage elegance with a contemporary flare for a New York style loft look and feel. Of our three studio’s; Studio A is the favorite for special events and comes complete with an art deco tin ceiling, 1800s Chicago brick feature wall, original hardwood floors and a new contemporary kitchen. All of P2’s studios create an unmatched ambiance in a open and inviting atmosphere.
Flexibility: Do you want to cater your own event or serve beer and wine? Are you looking for artful lighting, a custom layout, a baby grand piano, a large dance floor, or a dedicated studio for a photo booth—all in the same space? We have it all!
Location, Location: P2 is easy to get to and centrally located in the heart of Lansing’s historic Old Town, just two miles north of Michigan’s State Capitol with free parking available across the street.

Studio A is a large, warm, open and inviting space with a Chicago brick feature wall, beautifully restored hardwood flooring (great for dancing), art deco tin ceiling and a view of historic Old Town's Main Street. Studio A amenities include a baby grand piano, plush theater curtains, stage lighting and a large contemporary kitchen. Perfect for weddings, receptions, parties, fundrasiers, live enterainment, dancing and more. Studio A comfortably seats 50-175 guests for formal dinners and 75-200+ set up for mix and mingle special occasions.
Studio B offers an abundance of flexibility, is private yet connected to studio A by way of double doors at the north end of Studio A (behind the contemporary kitchen and next to the changing room). Studio B is often used as our small urban chapel and is breathtaking when drapped with white sheers and soft uplights. Studo B has also been creativly used an for a beautiful buffet tables, a green room for entertainers / dignitaries, a back stage ready room for theatre and fashion shows, a large well lit studio for silent auction or fundrasing events, great for all day training sessions or classes and highly desired for professional photo shoots. Studio B seats up to 80 comfortably as a chapel, 40-50 for dinning and 10- 25 set up for classroom or training with digital projector and screen.
The Prop-Shop Studio is great for creating your own custom photo booth! It comes equipped with many ever changing props-- from victorian themes, hand painted backdrops, to a rough looking back ally set. Don't forget our fun hats and bowas for extra special fun. The prop shop studio is a plethora of texture and color combined natural lighting and ceiling mounted studio strobes that can be set up to work from your point and shoot camera!
